Beautiful little town, just not a lot to do.

Beautiful little town, just not a lot to do. It's quiet and relaxing. However, it's not too far from Cork if you're looking for more things to do. So we stopped at Cork before heading to Cobh for the night. The pub we went to in Cobh was great though and was lively! So it was the perfect place to end our Ireland trip before heading back home.

Lovely little coastal town with parking and good traditional Pubs like Kelly’s Bar well worth a visit you can leave the car behind and hop on the train into Cork it’s only a short trip away. Then you can shop away to your hearts content. I imagine that is a great option for the Cruise ship passengers when they visit. Oh and I don’t want to forget the restaurants like the Quays or the Titanic who look after all your needs.

Local businesses lacked the customer service mentality that seems prevalent throughout Ireland. Very few dining options, most of them full. Cobh is a small town easily covered in an afternoon, and nothing about the local populace invites much engagement. It was a drab experience overall.

Cobh is delightful, quite small but with many things to do mainly concerned with history of the town. It is associated with the Titanic, but amazingly the infrastructure for the big liners is still there: the White Star Line and Cunard offices are still there as is the train station which brought so many travellers to the town. There are plenty of good restaurants in the town and the town is very easy to get around. The only problem is the hilliness of the town. Also Cork city is very close by.

The best B&B we‘ve ever been to in Ireland. Location is top, train station and town centre within walking distance. Bedrooms ensuite are extremely large, beds/mattresses perfect and one of rooms with a wonderful view of the lake. Breakfast very comprehensive, egg dishes, salmon etc. every day. But really unique are Marie & Joe! They anticipate your needs & wishes and give you really the feeling of beeing at home. Extremely responsive, kind and helpful. Next time in Cobh - 100% at Inver!!!

Pam’s welcome and care made this one of our favourite nights on our road trip. She made a reservation for us to eat out, chatted with us, made us tea and apple pie on arrival and cooked the best breakfast we had in Ireland with home made scones and soda bread. The room was large, clean and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable. The whole house is beautiful and so near to all you need in Cobh. We wanted to take this place and Pam with us everywhere we went!

We had both a continental and full breakfast choice. The continental offerings were more than adequate; smoked fish, meats, cheese, fruit, cereal. My wife had eggs which were cooked to order. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is a few minutes from downtown Cobh. The property is tightly packed with narrow views of the harbor. The BB is in a converted rectory which still shows in various rooms.

The staff was so helpful and accommodating. I wanted to order a birthday cake for my partner and Samuel arranged that for me before we arrived. He had been friendly and helpful, and catered to all our requests. We got an upgrade too and got a room at the top with sea view. The hotel had a bar which was really good and we spent a good bit of time over there as well. All local attractions were just 10 mins walk away.

The location of hotel is so convenient for wandering around cobh. We had a Seaview room so we could watch the many fishing boats and ships that cruise in and out of Cobh and Cork Harbour. The hotel staff were amazing and so helpful. Appreciated the muffins and bottles of water in the room. Our room was very spacious with a separate seating area and lovely spacious bathroom too..

At first we didn’t really prepare for being part of someone else’s home, and to be treated so well. The hosts are fantastic, made us feel very very welcome, a totally different and wonderful experience from any other b+b or hotel we have stayed in Ireland. View of the bay was wonderful, and the breakfast (with surprise twist) was also wonderful.

The beautifully decorated SeaView Apartment Suite is in a great location to enjoy the area of Cobh. Our host Bernadette met us there to let us in and gave us a tour of the apartment before handing over the keys. The kitchen was generously stocked with fruit, coffee, tea and biscuits to get us started.

The breakfast basket and the cookie and rubber duckies for the kids were a nice touch. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a great view. It was nice and quiet in the hotel, and the location on the waterfront right near all the shops was very convenient.
