There were lots of things to do with the family.
There were lots of things to do with the family. We went to the Car Museum, which was amazing. Saw a movie and went 10-pin bowling. The bowling alley was one of those old styles, like what I grew up with as a kid.
Went to the SPC factory, make sure you have plenty of room in the boot of your car, you are going home with lots of bargains.
We were there to play in a tennis tournament but when we were not playing we found heaps to do. The local wineries such as Tabilik and Mitchelton are a great day trip if you enjoy a little tasting.
Could have stayed a few more days and done a lot more.

Shepperton is a beautiful town with plenty to see but not staying at the Home Country Inn. Good meals at the Peppermill, at Aussie, lovely lakes and the town is very interesting with quaint buildings and modern.

Shepparton is a great place to visit and has beautiful facilities including the local swimming pool to many great cafes for breakfast or dinner. You can visit SPC and buy local canned goods or go for a walk around the lake where you can enjoy beautiful walking tracks and sites. Great kids playground at the lake including a skate park for the more adventurous kids. Lots of local orchards selling fruit and produce and you can even visit the Chocolate Apple store out at Kialla. The river is close by for those that enjoy fishing, great sporting facilities and shopping. Great for a weekend visit or longer

This place has grown and changed over the years that we've been visiting. A highlight for us is the river area, with the indoor swimming pool, the gardens, the art museum and the bushland walk. There are so many options for dining in Shepparton at all times of the day - many towns seem to close down around 2pm, but we were able to get a meal at 3pm from the Portuguese grilled chicken restaurant. Give McDonalds Shepparton a big miss though - crowded, noisy, grubby. Not the fault of the staff that they are short-handed, but on the night of a massive music festival, we queued inside for almost an hour for hot drinks and basic food items. The Shepparton Arts Museum is stunning, world class collection of ceramics and indigenous art, supported by digital displays and guides on each level of the building. Great contemporary exhibitions, of relevance to all Victorians since flooding and natural disaster events. Staff here are welcoming and helpful. Information Centre in the same complex, staff are friendly and enthusiastic about their city. MOVE motor vehicle museum is exceptional, the fashion and textiles section was a big surprise, cannot speak highly enough of this place. The cafe next door is popular with locals for breakfast and we found the food delicious, the staff welcoming and efficient. The garden centre here is a hidden gem, with big gardens and mini golf at the back of the premises, there is even a lovely chocolate and confectionery shop and a shop specialising in garden pots and decor pieces. We come to Shepparton for the marathon and country week tennis, but haven't been for some years. We will be back.
We stayed there as we were playing tennis at the Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club. So the location was good Any issues we had with the property, staff responded to immediately, which was good. The kids loved the pool. People kept to the 10pm quiet rule which was nice. It suited what we were doing whilst we were there. It is also really close to a supermarket so you can easily top up on milk and bread. Showers offered lots of nice hot water,
Room was clean, toilet bowl needs replacing as badly stained, was a little bit disappointed that the hotel took $200 bond upon checking in. I have stayed at many hotels and have never had to pay that much for bond. Upon check in staff member was not the most pleasant to deal with however on checking out the reception staff were lovely. Even got a phone call to let us know we had left our phone charger in the room. Thank you!
Loved the room and having a private balcony and free on site parking. My favourite accomodation in Shepparton by far and I have stayed at 5 other locations incl Quest, Parklake, Carrington etc. I prefer this over all others. Bathroom was excellent, Bed was very comfortable. Great to have hot chocolate and complimentary water bottles in the room as well! Most hotels don't bother any more.
The large window wall faced north which allowed us to enjoy the lovely northern Victorian sunshine. This also helped keep he room warm. The internal walls were plain white which brightened things up. The motel exterior was not painted that crappy depressing grey colour that seems to be popular at present with so many motels.
Hotel/Motel with a good quality Bistro. Property is located on the city side of Shepparton CBD which suited us. Everything about this property meets the expectation and always porovides a comfortable stay at a reasonable price with all required facilities on hand
A great location close to lake and the impressive art museum (SAM) and walking distance to shops. Very comfortable stay for 2 couples and both bedrooms had ensuite. Good cooking facilities. Will stay here again when visiting Shepparton.
There are pub and restaurant in the facility. It was very convenient.
The hotel is in the heart of the city. Short walk to cafes and restaurants.
Rooms were clean.
The staff was very helpful.
Cant beat the location. Few steps away from the lake and a small walk aeay from the main shopping precint.
The staff members were great.
The cabins were decent sized and clean.
This Motel is clean, comfortable, a short drive to the main shopping centre, its is now my go to Motel for the Shepparton area when I work up there. Very happy with it.
Adjoining rooms great for families. Bathrooms were very clean and facilities good (TV, fridge etc). Quiet location yet convenient to get into Shepparton CBD.
Stay here upon each visit to Shepperton. Not the cheapest in town nor the most expensive but nice and clean, modern. Pool unfortunately was freezing cold.
