Our room was very spacious and well decorated. The private pool was very nice and everything was clean. Their breakfast was good IF you get there at the beginning as they don't seem to replenish everything up to the end. The view was very good for the sunset and the location was out of the touristy places that get a look of traffic. The common pool was also very nice.

The local area is good for restaurants, vineyards, activities like boat trips and horse riding. There are some interesting historical sites (castle and bronze age settlement) close by. I really wish we could have stayed for longer than a week to see more of the locality. The bus can be a bit hit and miss, but a really cheap way to access the north of the island, Fira and Oia.

Beautiful area. Wonderful restaurants in the village.
Beautiful area. Wonderful restaurants in the village. Loved the Venetian castle which has coffee and food. You must visit the ancient city. The locals over all were very friendly and helpful. Please note-there are a lot of homeless animals. Be prepared for it.

The town itself only 5 minutes walk and has a range of very good restaurants.
Nice quiet town, good bus service to Fira and very reasonable cost of fare.
Would highly recommend Akrotiri as a resort to stay.

Akrotiri is a small place in the southern part of the island of Santorini, from which one can see the caldera and also experience beautiful sunsets. There is a small supermarket and a clothing store as well as restaurants and an art shop there. Also important are the Akrotiri Castle and the proximity to the Red Beach and the archaeological site, which can be reached on foot. There are also horses nearby that you can ride to the beach. Megalochori, a small beautiful village nearby, can be reached by bus to Fira. An ideal place to enjoy the sun in the south and to do tours of the island from there.

This area of Santorini was just perfect for us.
This area of Santorini was just perfect for us. Memorable views, from the caldera to the sunset, Oia & Fira in the distance.
The archeological site and the Lost Atlantis museum are very close for a jump into myth and real history of the island. The best beaches for snorkling are in this southern coast, between Vlichada and the Lighthouse. Many family run restaurants, super markets and amenities are at reach. And the Horst Riding experience with a wild gallop on the eros beacj is roght there .. strongly recommended.

I liked the fact it was close to facilities which l forgot to mention before! Supermarket, restaurants, (loved Porto Bello restaurant), cafes & chemist etc! Also car hire available! All short walk away!
Enjoyed a trip to the ancient archeological site & the museum of The Lost City of Atlantis! Also Red beach & Caldera! Lovely catamaran boat cruise round island with bbq & wine although l ghoughg bit pricey.
My husband and I stayed at the White curves for our honeymoon and we could not have been happier. From the moment we got there, we felt welcomed. Breakfast served in front of our room with sea view. The home keeper was extremely nice and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. We were welcomed with wine and a beautiful view. The room is spectacular. Clean and very well equipped. Lots of good recommendations were given to us. If you are going to Santorini, I 100% recommend satins at the White curves. You won’t be disappointed.
the host was very friendly and invited us for dinner. the location of the hotel is very nice. the village Akrotiri is small, but has everything including a nice cocktail bar which also serves good breakfast (the breakfast at the hotel is absolutely horrible, so I would definitely recommend eating breakfast somewhere else).
the village is outside the extreme touristy side of Santorini, which means that the prices for food are very doable (if you pick the right ones) and also gives a better Greece experience if you would ask me.
Giorgos was terrific in welcoming us upon arrival. The house has everything you need. If you come in the warmer months, be sure to go for a swim in the pool and you have great (sunrise/sunset) views of the southern part of Santorini. Property is very easy to find as it is at the fork of the main road. No complaints at all. Everything you need in a home plus more is here at Maison Marilia. Definitely recommend anyone to stay at this wonderful place for your Santorini memories!
We arrived there after a bad experience in another hotel of Santorini and they saved our holiday! Everything was perfectly clean, staff was amazing and the position is great. In a few minutes by car you can reach fira and in a few minutes walking you can reach the beautiful and relaxing caldera beach. Follow their suggestions for the dinner: the best dinner in Santorini! Also their breakfast is perfect! Sooo good!!
Thank you for everything! We'll come back
Set in a slightly quieter part of Santorini, there are a great selection of restaurants and tavernas within a few minutes walk, while getting to the busier towns of Firra and Oia is incredibly easy. Matthew is happy to arrange taxis or car hire and the bus can be caught from central Akrotiri just a few minutes walk away. Breakfast delivered to the room each day was amazing as well! Can't recommend this place highly enough
I really liked this hotel. The location was good and the hotel was beautiful itself with a nice swimming pool and a bar in front of our rooms. The rooms were clean enough, their service was good. They were friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. Totally I recommend it because I found it really nice specially for the price that was very reasonable in Santorini, which the hotels are usually very expensive.
It’s perfect hotel in Santorini - with stunning view of sunset and caldera, with private swimming pools and amazing balconies, in quite place and with short by car distance to Thira and Oia, also to the beaches - Red beach, white beach, Perrissa, akrotiri . So you can enjoy privacy and relax. They accept small dogs. Reception and other staff extremely supportive and nice ! Breakfast at high level
We had an amazing time at this property. The staff was amazing, caring, and provided some great recommendations. I have stayed at multiple hotels all over the world and this one of my favorite ones! The Greek breakfast was amazing, but the staff made this place even more special. If you are coming to Santorini do not hesitate when booking this place.
The view from the hotel is impeccable. Right across the property you can see the caldera, the new volcano and the towns of Fira and Oia. It is a great place to see the whole of Santorini and it is close to the Lighthouse, the Red Beach and the centre of Akrotiri.
Also, the staff is very friendly and breakfast was very tasty every day.
Since way before arrival Petya connected with us share lots of insights, helped with transfers, car rental, activities, ideas ti where to go, visit, where to eat, what to do. During the stay she was awesome always asking if we needed anything, helping us in every step. If I ever go back to Santorini I would definitely go back here
It's a nice hotel with lovely views of Caldera and breakfast was generous and delicious. It's a small hotel and managed by friendly staff. We always picked Akrotiri area to stay in Santorini as its away from the hustle and bustle of main villages of Oia and Fira. The reception manager Alexandra was very helpful and friendly.
Absolutely stunning! If you don't prefer the chaos and expense of Fira or Oia, Villa Maria in Akrotiri is perfect! The view is amazing and the swimming pool is lovely! Our hosts were so nice, and breakfast is a highlight! Our room felt exactly like one would want in Santorini. It was so romantic. Thanks for everything!
Nice hotel away from the busy places in Santorini.
Staff was really nice, I had a strong back pain and they brought all the pillows I needed. The restaurant has a great menu with good quality of food.
The bus station is one minute by walk from the property.
Loved the pool area!!
The honeymoon suits are amazing. The staff are the best staff I ever met. Katherena was so helpful, don’t worry if you came unplanned she will guide you to the best places in santorini. Antonio is very amazing and dedicated guy. The whole experience was unforgettable.
The location is amazing right beside the sea and in a less touristy/spoilt part of Santorini but in walking distance to restuarants and bus stop right outside. We also walked to the local village of Akrotiri which is also very pleasant
Very clean, very comfortable bed, great WiFi, quiet location with only a 5 minute walk into Akrotiri town, wonderful views, great for couples.
Would be my first choice in santorini if and when I get to return.
We absolutely loved our stay at Santorini View. It is a beautiful hotel with friendly staff. The view, the faculties and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Everything. It was away from the heart of Santorini, so quiet and lovely. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing!! Martha (receptionist and help guru!) was the gem of them all!!
The view was beautiful and the host was very helpful and caring. He made sure my sightseeing experience of Santorini was the best possible. And it was! Thank you so much!
