Forty Four Main Street, hotel in Swords

Just a 5-minute drive from Dublin Airport, Forty Four Main Street offers elegant guest rooms in the village of Swords, which dates back over 1,400 years.

We flew in from Canada to see relatives that live in Swords. Most in walking distance from the 44. It's a great location for our needs. Rooms are cute. Kept very clean. I'd say recently renovated. The pub on the main floor was excellent. Nicest Guinness in the area. The staff are amazing. Jerry and Anna made our visits in the pub friendly and full of laughter. All the staff were amazing. Food was top notch. I had a full Irish Breakfast twice and many lunches. We will be back to stay there next year! I special shout out to my new Local friend, Owen!

The Old Borough Hotel - Wetherspoon, hotel in Swords

Featuring a garden and a terrace, The Old Borough Hotel - Wetherspoon is located in Swords, a 10-minute drive from Dublin Airport and a 1-minute walk from Swords Castle.

It’s in a great spot, the pub is lively with a really happy vibe, the bar staff are very friendly and accommodating and even though it’s lively in the bar you can’t hear it from your room. Transport into the city is good and there’s a good shopping centre on your doorstep with lots of restaurants and a cinema. Really liked it and where it’s situated and would definitely stay there again.

It was busier and bigger than I expected but offered all needed. The Swords Express Bus service works really well. You need exact coins as no change nor card facilities are offered on the bus. Swords is the perfect destination for exploring the area; being close to the airport and for frequent trips into Dublin. It also gives easy access to the Motorway if you wish to explore a further afield.

if like me you need this for a layover at Dublin Airport, don't choose this one. It's not on a bus route or walkable so you have to take a cab, which added $20 to my stay. The curtains didn't close all the way and I happened to be on the first floor looking directly at peoples cars. One of only two USB ports didn't work but thankfully one did so I could set an alarm and make it to the airport on time.

I was extremely excited to go to this hotel from the pictures that I viewed and was deeply disappointed when we arrived. Our room looked nothing like any of the photographs. I would never have stayed there if I saw the quality of the room. I will not be back.

Very clean and quiet location. Room had everything I needed for an overnight stay. The wardrobe for breakfast items was very cool. Dominika was a great host and gave great tips on where to go in town. Bumble was disappointed she was too shy to take a pic with him though 😃 I wish I was there a little longer, Swords had a great vibe and things to do. The Old Schoolhouse Pub was definitely worth the walk. Bus stop is across the soccer field or it’s a 20 minute taxi. Will definitely stay here again if I get to Dublin again.

It was quite the surprise. it was a nice area to stay for the night layover for Dublin Airport. There was a very comfortable pub down stairs that was very inviting as were the staff. The room was beautiful and rustic with old stone walls even a fireplace. The room was big enough fire for a small couch in front of a TV and also a separate sitting area. the bathroom also had a bathtub and a separate walk in rain shower.

An amazing place to stay. All the rooms we had access to, being the kitchen, our own room and dining area, were spotless and very comforting - a true home from home. Our hosts were so lovely and available for any questions/help we needed which was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place and visit again! It is also 10/15 minute drive from Dublin airport which is a bonus!

The location near the airport was very convenient. We were able to walk to a pharmacy and grocery store not too far away. We took a very nice walk to Swords which is a fun little town to visit with a castle and nice pubs and restaurants. The staff was great and we were given an early check-in which was great as we arrived very early in the morning.

This hotel is 10 minutes from Dublin airport and that's why we chose it. But it's nothing like a boring airport hotel. It's got charm and character and you can walk to several good restaurants within a few minutes. Very kind and helpful staff and bonus points for the hotel hiring Ukrainian refugees.

Basic but comfortable with easy access to Dublin Airport by public transport. The staff was exceedingly helpful. Newly refurbished areas are decorated with taste. The property is surrounded by trees which protect it from the busy road. It was a plus to sit outside on the front lawn before our meal.

First of all I need to state how friendly and accomodating the staff were. I couldn't praise them enough. We ate in the bar and the food was excellent. Location to Dublin airport is perfect, 10min taxi drive. Room was clean and adaquate, well worth the money. I would stay there again.

Always use this hotel for all times we travel from out of Dublin. It is well located and has a great restaurant. It really is a fantastic place to kick your holiday off from. Always cheaper than other hotels and it is only 5 mins from the airport. Why wouldn't you stay here!?

The owner was very helpful and friendly. We could walk to the bus stop and travel all over this part of Ireland, switching to trains when needed. It was in a rural setting but easy to get to Swords by bus. The breakfast was great and the decor was beautiful.
