Lovely hotel, full of character... Great breakfast.
Great but out of season. Very good restaurants.
Beware the walk to Cala Luna - ignore the guide book - this is a very tough walk, but worth it if you're young and fit. Walk one way and get the boat back.

Even the town is small, but there are a lot of outdoor program, like boating to the different Cala's, small beaches, which could be accessible only from the sea, by boat.
I strongly recommend to visit Grotta di Bue Marino, a roughly 1 km long cave, with English and Italian language guide.
In the town there is a very interesting Aquarium too.
You may find everywhere good restaurants, bars.
We felt ourselves in the Paradise.

Cala Gonone itself is not that interesting, but you can reach some of the most beautiful beaches by boat from the prier of Cala Gonone. The location is nice, you can reach it after a drive on a serpentine.

Cala Gonone is a sensational destination.
Cala Gonone is a sensational destination. The most beautiful little town with lots of great dining options. The excursions to explore the nearby cove are also incredible. I recommend getting a boat and visiting as many of the ocean access beaches as possible. You wont need a car if you only want to see this little town, however, it is challenging to get to without one. This is a must see destination if you love beaches, boating and great food. Do not miss Cala Gonone!

Peaceful small town with beaches, no rush, a small but great Aquarium, a port, which is great access point to Orosei Gulf. Visited two times off season. Supermarkets expensive, restaurants were not
special but had reasonable price and good food. Check the small restaurant on the top of the hill, right after the tunnel. Great combination for view 7/10 coffee and 8/10 pizza.
The location of the hotel is perfect, only 5 mins walk away from all the shops and restaurants etc. Slightly uphill gradient when getting back to the hotel for those wondering. The hotel is nice. Rooms are basic, clinical as opposed to luxurious. Bathrooms are very clean. The breakfast was European continental. I imagine it would be lovely in season with the swimming pool open and perhaps more of a choice at breakfast for a demanding crowd. Staff were very friendly - no complaints.
I loved the spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. I loved the details and decorations of the room. The ceramic bowls and ornaments in the bathroom and bedroom had a beautiful bird design. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices including Italian pastries, yoghurt, fruit. They even had soy milk for my cappuccino. The dinner was a set menu with more delicious Sardinian food that I we could eat. They accommodated my vegetarian request very well.
We had an amazing stay in Cala Gonone. The apartment was very spacious and the air conditioning worked very well in the bedroom. The host was so kind and welcoming and we had a delicious breakfast. She gave us recommendations for restaurants and places to see. The location is good if you come by car, as parking is very easy. It is a bit of a walk into town, but worth not worrying about the car. The washing machine was perfect as well.
Only few things can be pointed out as nice and comforting. The location of the place is very good in close distance to the main Cala Gonone beach. Also enough space for free parking (unattended) is fine. If you have a car, you can easily reach the passage to the Cala Luna bay as well as the market in the city center. The hotel also provides a 'shuttle train' to the beach, which works during the day.
the area was beautiful and peaceful. Right next to a museum thats worth a visit and 10 minutes away from Cala Gonone. The host Marco and his wife Angela were super kind, they helped us with everything and prepared homemade breakfast every morning. Room had everything we needed and we also had a kitchen we could use. Was the perfect stay and would definitely come back.
The hotel is located in the upper corner of Gala Gonone with a great view over the Gulf. The hotel provided everything we needed and even organized the boar rental for us. On request they prepared a tasty lunchbox. The stuff was super friendly and helpful. Especially the two women at the reception performed outstandingly and made us happy.
We were driving along Sardinia. Read about Cala Luna. It was a cute little town. So we made a 1 night stop. Hotel was perfect for us. In a hot day Air Con was perfect! So the bed, very comfortable! It exced our expectations! Ladies at Front Desk have very nice & welcoming attitude . Thank you!
Right in the port, opposite the mall with boats. This is where all sea excursions leave. So if you came for them, it’s ideal to settle here! Paid parking is 100 meters from the hotel - about 6 euros per day. The sunrise from the balcony is also excellent!
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Location was prime, great view, and plenty of amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back to Cala Gonone!
Room and private bathroom equipped with everything you need. Comfortable bed, good working AC. Very friendly owner and lovely breakfast. The best place we stayed in whole Sardinia. Definitely deserves 10/10
Great location. Beautiful views. Friendly staff. Free private use of the jacuzzi with appointment. Dinner in the restaurant was the best meal we had in Sardinia.
