Set within 6 km of Sannai-Maruyama site and 43 km of Tsuta Hot Spring, Dormy Inn Aomori Natural Hot Spring offers rooms in Aomori. Extremely splendid experience. We did not expect much other than having a clean room per person and a big-and-comfortable public bath (Daiyokujo). On top of that we get free evening soba noodles, free drinks (unlimited apple juice) and free ice after baths, and free massage chair service. The whole place is also beautifully decorated. Not to mention that the room price is extremely low, that the place is at the city center, and close to the train station.

The baths are spacious and comfortable with free frozen treats to relax with afterwards. There are complimentary washing machines, which are really appreciated by travellers with many days on the road. There's late night ramen. Our corner room wasn’t big but it was well arranged. The windows open to let in a little fresh air. The location is in the heart of town right near bus routes. Some of the staff speak English and offered a lot of help.

This is our 2nd stay at Dormy Inn and we absolutely love it. The rooms are big and comfortable. They have an ofuro, public bath, but did not use it both times went to Dormy Inn (first one in Himeji). The breakfast spread excellent. This is definitely one of the best hotel chains in Japan.

The staff were really friendly. I arrived a couple hours early and I was able to leave my bags at the front desk. They were also able to recommend a place to eat and gave me clear directions. The breakfast had a small variety but was really tasty!

The hotel chain, Super Hotels, has a great breakfast selection, focused on natural ingredients and local delicacies. Also, when you arrive at this particular chain, they give you a welcome drink at the bar, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. When I was there, they had several different types of local apple juices, a speciality of Aomori prefecture - a bit like wine-tasting but with apple juices! I also liked the fact that there was an onsen bath, although it's a public bath it's well worth it.

The staff were amazing, and the driver took us to the aquarium and back on our last morning before we took the train back to Aomori. The history is very special, and the food was also spectacular - it was so lovely to experience this Japanese cooking.

A nice place to stay. The hotel is close to the Aomori Station 青森駅 and Aoiumi Park 青い海公園, just a few minute walk. I can see the Aomori Bay Bridge 青森ベイブリッジ from my room. Really nice view. The staff are nice and can speak English well. The room is tidy and clean. (There are washing machines and dryers in the hotel)

There was an onsen right next to the hotel, which was amazing to come in and relax after a long day of travelling. We had breakfast at the hotel too and it was also very good. There was a large selection of local food, which means that we got to sample all of Aomori's cuisine too.

Art hotel has a bigger property in hirosaki and it seems it is an aomori brand? Nice decor with Nebuta. Room has view to the city and I guess it's an advantage of smaller town hotels compared to big cities' hotels.
