Really nice hotel, great location, staff and breakfast
Aalborg is a very friendly city to the visitors. There are many nice cafes, Penny Lane is one of them.
There are many parks and beautiful lakes.
It is cheaper than Copenhagen but still expensive for people coming form the south of Europe.
If the weather is nice is a fantastic city for those who do not like much the noise of bigger cities and there is everything one needs.

Aalborg has a nice and modern city center for shopping, eating out or a walk along the water front. Even cruise ships anchor here. There are several parks and recreational area's with a pleasant atmosphere: The zoo, harbour area, Sauna's with a view over the water and nearby island.
The city is well equiped with cycling track and you should definitly explore the town by bike. The center was not to busy , so enjoy walking around as well.

Very continental European.
Very continental European. The old part of the city has a medieval charm to it. The city was really clean. I think it is perfect for a weekend trip. (For LGBT travellers QBar is definitely the place!)

Nice touristic place to spend a couple of days and use as a stay location for excursions to other locations (especially in the north and west regions). A lot of night clubs, theaters for performances, good restaurants and interesting parks like the music one.

Aalborg is a great town to visit, it has a lot to offer for someone looking for a short city break.
Bars, restaurants, waterfront and multiple cultural things to see is great - and with a 15 min. taxi ride from the airport - this town is a great get-away!
The location is excellent. The price is the lowest I can find at such a location in the whole Aalborg area. The hotel is close to shopping, restaurants, transportation, and everything else in the city center. It has a very short walking distance to the seaside. The staff is friendly and ready to help 24-7. It is possible to buy drinks and snacks in the lobby (very useful when it is in midnight).
A very well equipped apartment with lovely interior design and easy check in/check out formalities. When reached out, the hosts replied swiftly with solutions. The kitchen had everything that is needed for a vacation (even tea towels, dishwash soap and tea selection), same goes for the bathroom-body wash&shampoo was available. A great stay in Aalborg direct in city center.
cheap weekend stay decent beds slept well considering party street directly below hotel they provide ear plugs as noise from party bar directly below is quite loud but knew that when we booked hotel shower hot and enough water two people
breakfast reasonable nothing special but again enough and decent quality for price we paid for room and breakfast
The apartment was charming, warm and comfortable. Easy to find and close to the main city centre, with a 20 min walk into the centre of Aalborg. The facilities in the apartment were superb and we were very comfortable. There was off street free parking right next to the apartment. We were met by the lovely owner, everything was very easy.
The place is clean, quiet, big enough, very well located in the city center with a restaurant right next to you. It looks exactly like the pictures.
Staff was very helpful with the internet issue we had.
You have enough pans to cook your own meals.
Very good price for Aalborg.
The rooms are cozy and clean. The hotel is located in proximity to the town center, the train and bus station. The guy at the reception desk is very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast was good. There's also an interesting exhibition at the hotel. It's worth seeing.
Had a very comfy mattress. I’ve stayed in various Cabinn hotels a few times, and this is the first time it struck me why it’s called “Cabinn”, the rooms are exactly like cabins on ferries.
For the money you won’t find better in Denmark.
After staying in over 100 hotels and apartments during my travels over the last 3 years, I've finally found somewhere I deem to be a perfect 10/10 rating.
Need i say anymore!

Stayed at the family room with a bunkbed. Room was clean and comfortable.
It has a closed parking garage.
The breakfast menu was great too, as we expect from Scandic hotels.
The hotel is fine for a short stay and the staff is helpful, there is paid on premise parking and the location is very central and reachable within 10 min from the highway.
Hotel was big and clean. The rooms were on the smaller side, but fine for us. Staff was friendly (and almost all spoke English) which made it easier. Parking was a bonus!
The stay was comfortable. The hotel has big garden with beautiful greenery. Breakfast was great with fresh ingredients and nice view facing the garden.
