Nungwi is probaly the nicest beach in Zanzibar.
Nungwi is probaly the nicest beach in Zanzibar. Its not overcrowded and yet has enough restaurants and bars. Alway take care when walking along the beach, when you try to return you might not be able to due to high and low tide. Also visting and eating at the fish food market is a must, tgey have daily fresh fish and seafood and tge prices are affordable

The beach and the resorts are beautiful. People are amazing! This situation with the Masai though its literally unbearable. They don't know when to stop bothering you. I am there to enjoy the sun and the beach not to be harassed by them, after I kindly explained that I don't wish to talk, have a good day, they literally follow me and don't leave me alone. Nungwi used to be a small fishersmen's town, but it is now buzzing with bars, hotels and restaurants and lots of activities to do. If you want to go on a snorkeling trip, or have other fun activities. Then this is your spot. I appreciated the beautiful ful of the ocean - with the clear blue waters and the fishermen working.

What i liked most is the Staff who were very caring especially when my daughter fell ill there did their best to help her. Food and ambience were just great not forgetting about the friendly owners, I would definately recommend a friend of even family members at your property, I have nothing to complain of.

Nungwi was a very pleasant and happy part of the island. The locals are very friendly and always willing to help and go the extra mile. The beaches are clean and the difference between high and low tide is very minimal. You can swim at all times of the day.AAnonymousSouth Africa

Breakfast was very delicious and satisfying ( that pancakeee :), I am a serious coffee addict and I remember being so happy when I found Nespresso coffee here). Frankly, Before coming to the island, I had some hesitations about the food, but guys, the hotel's food is really successful. 2 chefs work at the hotel and they cook incredibly delicious food. Shout out to William who spoke with us about what to do/see during our time in Zanzibar. The view from our room was beautiful and the hotel grounds were spectacular. It was also perfectly safe and very interesting to walk in to Nungwi town either down the beach or via the main road. The Riu app worked fine and we were able to eat in each speciality restaurant during our stay...:)

The gardens are lush and well taken care of. Good selection of drinks and food at restaurant. Staff were incredibly friendly and felt very secure with on site 24/7 security. Not that you need this but it felt very secure, that you could leave your belongings to go swim in the sea for example.
