Fantastic breakfast selection of breads, cheeses, meat and pastries taken at the hotel attached. Helpful staff. Free bus and train travel into Interlaken included (or a 45 minute walk via the Rugenbrau brewery, bar and restaurant)

Location on train line with easy access to Interlaken Ost, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and Jungfraujock. We got a window and balcony with a great view of Mönch, Jungfrau and Jungfraujock. Restaurant was excellent, included breakfast was excellent. They gave us a pass for free local trains and buses. The front desk loaned me a screwdriver so I could tighten loose wheels on our luggage.

We got the full chalet experience on a budget with breakfast in the main building. The bathroom is shared with one other room on your floor and fairly basic but that was not an issue for us. The location is great, a little outside the city with the view of the mountains. Accessible from Interlaken West with bus and then 2 minute walk.

House was well equipped with everything we needed and was very comfortable. Host was super lovely. Parking was provided in front of the host’s house which is just two houses over and safe.
