We loved everything about the Crown Hotel. The staff were wonderful and nothing was ever too much trouble. It was cleaned every day making it spotless. Erin was wonderful she made us cocktails that were second to none and just fabulous. She was really quite unwell on the day we were leaving so get well soon Erin. You will be seeing us again soon. Thank you everyone for a wonderful birthday.

worth visiting Weymouth, there is plenty things for family and kids. The beaches are lovely and have two distinguished sections pebbles and one with golden sand. beautiful views, walks and things to do as adults and for kids. Portland isn't far so one day spent there and had an amazing wood fired pizza which was we saw enroute someone selling from Pizza catering van.

The beach and harbour area lovely, the town not so nice.
The beach and harbour area lovely, the town not so nice. Too many teenage drunks and drug abusers on the streets at night. Very loud and noisy. It has good bus links to others places of interest. Most accommodation is b and b only so restaurants, cafes and bars overcrowded in evenings. More suitable for young families who like fairgrounds and amusement arcades.

Weymouth is glorious specially if you like seafood. Superb restaurants, Catch being the reason for my trip, so book a few days to try them all. Harbour & coastal cruises weather permitting offered too. The beach is clean, the water too, rare in many places.
The people are friendly & very welcoming. A good place to breathe in fresh air & relax.

There are many attractions close by. Parking is a problem in the town centre. It is best to choose accommodation with off street parking. Lodmoor with its park and attractions is excellent and great for dog owners. The town is family friendly with many entertainments.

Weymouth holds a special place in my heart as my Mum’s family all come from there and I spent a lot of my school holidays there. It has of course changed quite a lot but the beach is still fabulous for children and if you are happy to drive further afield there is Sandsfoot Cove which is a bit quieter than the main beach, and Portland with it’s exciting lighthouse to visit at the Bill. Abbotsbury Swannery is brilliant - beautiful and educational all at once and Monkey World just along the way is much fun. You can’t go wrong having a break in Weymouth.

We love Weymouth our travel time is about 90min away but we love to stay there when we can as there is so much to do. The beach is always clean and the dogs are allowed on a specific partof the beach in the summer. Good places to eat and fabulous old pubs to find out of town. The boot is a special little gem. The nightlife is good as there is always live music in the pubs. The harbour is a magical place to sit with a coffee or a beer and watch the bridge going up to let the boats go under. Also good shopping centre, a little run down in places but on the whole plenty of good cafes.
he hotel is located on the main road into Weymouth. There is a free car park at the front and one to the rear if needed, with access to the hotel from both ends. The room was large and comfortable with free wifi. The food was good both in the evening and breakfast, the later of which is served from 07.00am. The breakfast is buffet style, but unlike many I stay at has fried eggs as well as scrambled
This hotel is situated in an amazing location, right in the middle of Weymouth and opposite the beach. The staff are fabulous and made us feel so welcome.
The room was perfect with comfortable beds, a really great shower and a fantastic view
We spent time in the lounge area during the evening playing games (there are loads to choose from) and the team were so friendly.
Thank you so much
The hotel has lovely views of the beach and Weymouth bay and is easy walking to the town and harbour. We were greeted by the owner who was very welcoming. Our room/ bathroom were both very clean. Breakfast was cooked to order so was fresh and very tasty. We enjoyed our one night stay and thought it was good value for money.
The hotel staff are friendly/polite, cook a great proper breakfast and it comes with freshly pressed coffee. The hotel is affordable, clean and nearby to the seaside and local shops ect.
If you are reading this, book a room and enjoy a peaceful time in Weymouth. Life is short, enjoy yourself whilst you can.
Cheers
Always stay in this hotel on our common visits to Weymouth. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are always tidy and homely, would recommend.
Activities on in the evenings Bingo etc, dogs allowed which is a bonus to us! Would advise getting a parking permit where available / parking in the pavilion.
Really well run hotel and wonderfully renovated. The owners were fantastic, very friendly, informative, kind and very efficient. This is a super hotel to enjoy Weymouth. The rooms were spotless and very well appointed - honestly can’t fault anything about our stay! Thank you so much.
The hotel was a bit of a warren to be honest, an insignificant facade has been extended many times behind. But the welcome was warm and the directions to find our rooms clear. We ate out in the evening to experience Weymouth but the hotel breakfast was very good and well organised!
Everything was very good, the only big problem was nothing to do with the Hotel, it was trying to find a parking space!! Complete nightmare. That has to be sorted out. If Weymouth wants tourists to come, please sort out either cheaper, or free parking.
The location was amazing! Derrick was a wonderful host. And his granddaughter welcomed us with the most amazing and beautiful cupcakes on arrival. Derrick gave all the best recommendations on what to see, where to eat, and history of the hotel itself.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Service was beyond what you could really have expected. When I look back on Weymouth part of what I'll remember will be this hotel.A great example of why bed and breakfasts can be better than hotels.
A lovely host and a very nice place to rest whilst in Weymouth with everything being close by but not too close.
Everything we needed was to hand and quick responses from the owner for any questions.
Would recommend
Friendly hosts, excellent breakfast the Owners could not have been more accommodating. Close to the seafront and all that Weymouth has to offer, would totally recommend the Rosefield and would definitely return.
I liked the location, as I was right place to be in the town centre and Weymouth docks and a short walk to the beach. And the hotel and staff was great. And a very friendly place to stay.
We loved the view
Melaney the owner was lovely
Breakfast was beautiful
The hotel was spotless
Opposite the beach , close to the train station
Just a perfect stay , no faults
Very comfortable hotel in an excellent location at a good price. Rooms well presented and staff very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of car parking a few minutes away.
