Offering stylishly furnished rooms with balconies and coffee machines and free Wi-Fi, the Testa Grigia hotel has been completely renovated in 2010. This is a nice small hotel in central Zermatt. It's about 200m from the train station. A bit tricky to find at first if you are not watching for the Apoteke of the same name underneath. It's a very nice small place and a good price in Zermatt.

Located in the centre of Zermatt, Backstage Boutique SPA Hotel offers uniquely furnished rooms with open fireplaces and free WiFi. Opened in December 2010, it features a spa area. The hotel was awesome. We were in the Star & Sky room which was fabulous. Lucas (front desk) greeted us and he was very professional and friendly. He provided us with all the info we needed for the area. The spa was a fabulous addition to the hotel. The breakfast was delicious. The design of the hotel was incredible and well thought out.

Situated close to the ski lifts in Zermatt, Alpen Resort & Spa features a restaurant, and spacious rooms with cable TV. This hotel is fantastic. The room was spacious, beds comfy and immaculately clean. We had a room with a view of the Matterhorn which was fabulous. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The hotel is situated in a fantastic location just a few minutes walk from the station. The spa facilities are amazing with a pool, jacuzzi, onsen, steam and sauna. The massage is one of the best we've ever had! The hotel is also fantastically equipped for children from the bedding in the cot to the play area with soo many toys to the children's pool area with slide and again soo many toys. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, you will not be disappointed!

Featuring a garden, a terrace as well as a bar, Hotel Tannenhof is located in the centre of Zermatt, 600 metres from Zermatt Railway Station. this was such a great property and the theming around the Locomotive was incredible. it didn’t feel overdone or like a “Train Place” but more a great modern homage to everything Swiss. Great wood roofing and flooring an amazing shower and balcony. the ambience is well set upon arrival.

The facilities at Alpenhorf is outstanding. Their swimming pool and outdoor jacuzzi was the highlight and of my stay. They have an amazing spread of breakfast everyday. The room is so beautiful.

Right from the time they picked us up from the train station, the experience was nothing short of WOW. The Hotel itself is very well located, right next to the Ski lifts. If you have kids, they'd love the entrance to the hotel, from a tunnel. The facilities and amenities at the property are all very good and efficient. Extra points for the staff who are extremely courteous and always ready to help.

Best staff ever. They really went out of their way to make my stay special and were brimming with genuine warmth - every single person I interacted with. I had a constant smile on my face and that is particularly due to the incredible staff. Both in Tradition Julen and Hotel Alpenhof (which has a spa you cannot miss out on). The location is close to the town center and there is a shuttle to/from the train station + sister hotel. The restaurant is phenomenal as well as the breakfast. So many little details that made this a truly unique experience like offering me a discount and a drink voucher when I extended my stay, giving tips about getting around the mountain, and somehow always finding chocolate in my room (sometimes even hand-delivered). What an absolute delight, and an experience I will hold onto for a long time.

The location is the best in Zermatt, the staff was very helpful spicaly Mr. Faisal, he was very kind and well knowledged. The concierge guys have answers for all my questions. Best experience the staffs are the best very friendly helpful. Every thing was clear they give short introduction where to stay and how to get benefits of all facilities. Best experience i have ever had. Everything is clean and great. Breakfast was included and there’s tea time in the tea club which also free. Great place to stay in for one night.

We loved the breath taking mountain views from every window, the sunny après-ski outside terrace and meals in the restaurant. The spa treatments were also very relaxing. Spectacular area, lovely slopes and snow shoe tracks...a wonderful stay all round. We will be back.
